For Subscription Agents 

Welcome! This page is designed to provide subscription agents and third party sales groups with information and news relating to American Psychiatric Publishing (APP), PsychiatryOnline, and APP publications. Please visit often, as we will be regularly updating the services and information we offer. Please feel free to offer suggestions for additional topics not yet covered on this page.

The DSM-5 is being released in print in May 2013. It will be loaded to PsychiatryOnline.org in June 2013.

Institutional Activation Instructions

Institutional online activations fo APP journals and electronic subscription products (DSM Premium and DSM-IV-TR Online Only) have changed. Online activations for all institutions will be handled by APP. Unlike the Highwire system, APP does not use a web page at which customers can activate their online access or change their IP addresses. In order to ensure that your customer's online access is activated and communicated to them, please make sure that when submitting your subscription orders to include the following information:

1. Adminstrator Contact Name, Phone, and Email
2. Customer IP addresses
3. APP Customer Number

When the subscription order has been received and processed by APP, we will automatically send out an email notification to the administrator that their online acess has been activated.

Training Guides

• User Video Guides introduce PsychiatryOnline.org and its many resources. Videos are provided for DSM Premium and DSM-IV-TR Online Only institutional users, DSM Select individual users, and subscribers to textbooks, journals, and CME.
• Librarian Resource Center includes DSM Premium Subscription User Guide, Getting Started Documents, and list of resources available on PsychiatryOnline.org.

• APP Tier Definitions: Institutional subscription rates are based on the scope of the end customer's organization.
